There is no time for waiting .
It 'time for our generation to make space and raise your voice.
We are a generation precarious unemployed, underpaid or forced to work free, invisible, condemned to a long dependency on parents. The precarious life is for us, everyday without rights: the right to study the right to housing, income to health, the ability to realize their own emotional happiness. Especially for young women, which weighs the blackmail of a conflict between work and life.
We are no longer willing to live in a country as profoundly unfair.
Our time is now , life will not wait. All the streets April 9.
For several days running on an Internet call, as coordination Printing Errors , we decided to sign with conviction and we see among the first signatories. It was promoted by young workers in different categories: call-center operators, architects, academics, artisans of the show, teachers. And journalists like us.
We signed this appeal because this group of people united by the same branding: a precarious professional that is blocking our lives, hindering our ability to design our future constructively, but also limits any possible realization in the present.
Many people think that journalists are a protected category, "a caste of privileged people" who have all, in equal measure, access to contracts armored and well-paid, comfortable health insurance, social security safety nets and soft iron . When you read our signatures at the end of an article or append to a TV service, you probably imagine yourself sitting at your desk, writing news in front of a computer generation, with a phone company in his hands. Or, more romantically, envoys of the road, with the production of camera in one hand and suitcase in the other, with the ticket inside the train and the hotel voucher paid by our office in the draft.
But the reality, at least for us insecure, is another. And if April 9, we decided to take to the streets because we want to tell everyone is a series of news that affect us that hard to read in our newspapers.

We report, for example, that editors are full of workers fixed-CoCoCo and freelancers who do the same work as colleagues for an indefinite period, with contracts or even more disadvantageous "to the piece." These contracts often do not reach 1000 euro per month, are paid or "lump sum" arbitrary and irregular intervals.
We recall that the temporary contracts were the first to go when companies ended up in a state of crisis, that our union moved a finger to prevent it and no one security tool remotely similar to the case Integration guaranteed colleagues were even suggested for us.
We want you to know that our social security fund, the Inpgi provides social safety nets such as unemployment benefits and the disease only for those who have the privilege of working under the umbrella of the collective national journalism (Cnlg), an instrument always more rare, while dropping on the ground without a parachute, workers who remain on the street at the end of a CoCoCo or collaboration "a piece" with regular contributions.
Speaking of "cooperation to the piece, we want to publicly reveal that the rates at which employees are often forced to sell their products or services are absurdly inadequate, also established in major publications produced by domestic publishers or television productions aired on major networks generalist. For print media, for example, speak of an average of 20-25 € to published article, often without any sort of bonus or reimbursement of expenses, to make it almost impossible, even with diligent work and daily life, put together at the end of the month a "salary" decent or similar to the previous month. Here also, our union, in place to ensure fair and claim compensation for all, often prefer to look the other way.
We want to uncover the fraud hidden behind the system of so-sponsored "Schools of journalism," now means almost exclusively on the practitioner, were offered as a prelude to the stable and secure, instead of breeding more and more highly skilled unemployed or unpaid interns.

If we cross our arms, without giving in to blackmail to stay in the system unsustainable conditions, many pages remain blank, many radio news would fill several minutes of silence and television services should not be on the air. In short, do not go much information to the public and therefore would be in danger not only our right to decent work, but also the right of everyone to information free and complete.

's why we ask all journalists precarious and all the colleagues who support our reasons for taking to the streets with us, April 9. Together with the CGIL, researchers and university fellows renewed sobs, workers "to coin" the world of entertainment and culture to second generation migrants in search of integration and equality, temporary workers and call centers.
Why are familiar with the abuses to which they are forced too, in areas that seemed so different from ours, and because only building across the board and participated in a firm and lasting "net generation" we can really start to change things and to resume, in one fell swoop, today and tomorrow that we all deserve.
